thank you

I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have left messages here. The loss of my sweet Maggie has really rocked me and I so appreciate the heartfelt messages from all of you. I am slowly recovering, but the last week has been just brutal and my emotions are pretty fragile. Since I live alone and Maggie was the last of my furry babies, it has been quite an adjustment for me. I'll get better, a little bit at a time, so please bear with me. I hope to start posting stamping stuff soon. I have a hostess club that will meet next weekend, so will have to get something ready for them to do! :) In the meantime, I would like to share with you this quote that my sister found and sent me that expresses so beautifully what is in my heart -

"It is not just that animals make the world more scenic or picturesque. The lives of animals are woven into our very being - closer than our own breathing - and our soul will suffer when they are gone."
- Gary Kowalski, Author of The Souls of Animals

Dana,

I wanted to share a form of therapy that helped my mom a great deal. Make something that reminds you of Maggie. My mom made a beautiful quilt and she used all kinds of Spring-like, happy fabrics. So, every time she uses it, she thinks of all the happy memories she had with Ginger.

I hope this helps!
Love,
Kathy

This is so true. Thank you for sharing the quote. It makes my heart hurt a little bit, but I think it's just hurting with love for the furry friends I've lost. That's okay. When I lost my Otto the thing that always made me feel better was the thought that my family and I provided a good, loving home and a wonderful life for him. All his selfless love was returned in kind. He had a good life. He was a very lucky dog and we were lucky to have had him to love.
