Asian cork

Here is another card that was a stamp club challenge - to use cork. Had this in my head all along and it turned out pretty much as I planned. The panda is embossed. The buttons I found at the $1 store and thought they would work well on an Asian style card (and so they did!). Of couse I had to cut the backs off of them with my little snippers so they would lay flat. This card will probably still need to be sent in a padded envy (or hand delivered) as it will be a little more than the postal machine will handle without tearing it all up. And who wants that after all the work you put into creating it?! :)

Stamps: Asian Art (retired), Bamboo II b/g)
Ink: Always Artichoke, VersaMark
Paper: Always Artichoke, Basic Black, Very Vanilla (although it looks white in the pic)
other: cork, buttons, gold cord, gold mini-brads, ticket corner punch, black detail embossing powder
